Introduction Of Free Public Transport In Doubt

It's over fears that more 'unnecessary' journeys would be taken.

"People should be using bikes or walking for short journeys and using public transport for longer ones."

That's the view of Rail Users Ireland, after Eamon Ryan squashed the idea of introducing free public transport.
