Irish Base In Lebanon Struck By Rocket

No soldiers were injured.

The Irish base in Lebanon was struck by a rocket yesterday.

No soldiers were injured in the strike at the UN Post 2-45.

It's understood to have been hit by a rocket fired by Hezbollah.

Defence Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Seán Clancy says it's not known if Israel's Iron Dome intercepted the rocket, causing it to fall.
