Joe Biden says it is time to end the war in Gaza, as he outlined the latest proposals to bring about a ceasefire in the region.
The three-part plan would see a pause in fighting between Israel and Hamas, the withdrawal of Israeli troops from populated areas, and the release of hostages.
The US President is urging Israel to support the proposal.
