Overall land prices have increased across the county.
In Kildare land prices have decreased by 5% , to €15, 646 per acre, according to a report by the Irish Farmer's Journal.
However, overall agricultural land prices in Ireland have seen their biggest increase since the financial crash in 2008.
Prices have increased by 33% in the last two years.
The most significant price increase was seen in Clare where a 94% increase was recorded.
Mayo has the cheapest ranked land, at 4,800 euro per acre, and Dublin the most expensive, at 20,000 euro per acre.
The report out found 2 out of every 5 buyers of agri-land are business people with non-farming incomes.
The figures are contained in the Irish Farmers Journal’s annual land price report which reveals the average price of agricultural land increased by 16% in 2020.
