Major Search Operation Targeting Organised Crime Still Underway In The Capital

The operation is part of investigations into a number of gangs operating nationwide.

Over 150 gardaí are currently involved in a search operation in Coolock and Raheny in Dublin, targeting organised crime.

Searches of 39 properties began this morning.

The operation is part of investigations into a number of gangs operating nationwide, that are suspected of being involved in burglaries, drug trafficking, counterfeiting, theft and other property crimes.

Gardaí say the searches are continuing this afternoon.
