It's emerged a man who Gardaí are waiting to speak to following the Dublin school knife attack has woken up from a coma.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the stabbings outside Gaelscoil Cholaiste Mhuire on Parnell Square on November 23rd.

A creche worker and three children were attacked during the incident, which sparked major riots in Dublin City Centre later that evening.
