Corporation Tax has topped €21 billion for the year so far, with receipts of €5-billion for November alone.
That's the biggest monthly figure ever.
Returns from income tax are 4.2% ahead of target, and VAT returns are 5.5% higher than expected.
However the tax take from Excise Duties fell below €5 billion, down 5.2 %
The Department of Finance says the fall reflects measures introduced by Government to counter the rising cost of living.
