The airport is closed until November 22nd.

Ryanair is expected to announce plans to restore routes and reopen its base at Cork airport.

The base closed last October but its hoped it will now reopen by the end of the year.

The details will be announce at a press conference at Cork Airport this morning.

The airport is currently closed until November 22nd while works are carried out on its main runway.
