It's the first official day of action of the Olympic Games in Paris, with plenty of Irish involvement

Simon Harris passed the Irish Flag to golfer Shane Lowry and Limerick athlete Sara Lavin - as the team's 'flag-bearers' for last night's opening ceremony on the River Seine in Paris.
They then joined the Olympic athletes sailing into the centre of the Capital, as more than a quarter of a million spectators lined the route.
Shane said he kept the secret well - and didn't even tell his mum!
