Two men have been charged in relation to the serious assault of another man in Dublin's city centre.
He was attacked on South Anne Street over the weekend.
This horrific attack happened at around half one on Sunday morning when a man was set upon by a group of men.
The victim - in his 20s - remains in a critical but stable condition at Beaumont Hospital.
Two men in their 20s were arrested yesterday about the assault and were questioned at Pearse Street Garda Station.
They have since been charged and will appear in court at a later date.
Gardai say their investigations are ongoing.
