Two men were treated for minor injuries

A woman has been arrested after Gardaí responded to calls about a person acting in a threatening manner, at a house in Limerick last night.

Gardaí were called to Clare Street at 11.15pm and found a man with minor injuries to his arms, and a second man in the house.

Officers say a woman remained in the house and was acting in a threatening manner.

The Garda Armed Support Unit was called and used a taser, before arresting a woman in her 30s.

Both men were treated for minor injures at the scene, and the woman is detained at a Garda Station in Limerick where she can be held for up to 24 hours.
