Following their relegation from Division 2 and defeat against Louth in the Leinster semi final, Kildare will compete in the second tier competition.

Second seeds are Antrim, Offaly, Laois and Longford.
While the fourth seeds are Carlow, Tipperary, London and Waterford.
The opening round of fixtures take place on the weekend of May 18th and 19th.
