England coach Richard Cockerill will miss their must-win Six Nations clash with Ireland tomorrow after testing positive for Covid-19.

He's gone into isolation after the result was confirmed this morning.

All of the other England staff and the players have returned negative results, however Maro Itoje missed today's captain's run after feeling unwell overnight.

Eadestown's Tadhg Beirne has been named to start for Ireland while Athy's Joey Carbery is among the replacements.

Meanwhile Wales face in-form France at Cardiff later as they aim to keep their slim hopes of retaining their Six Nations title alive.

Kick-off at the Principality Stadium is at eight o'clock.
