First Ever Tailteann Cup Draw Takes Place.

Wicklow will play Waterford, Carlow face Tipperary and Laois go up against Westmeath.

The first-ever draw for the Tailteann Cup has taken place.

Counties from Divisions Three and Four of next year's Allianz Football League are included - with New York set to enter at the quarter-final stage.

Wexford will play Offaly in the southern section preliminary round, while Wicklow meet Waterford.

The winners of those matches will meet in the first round proper.

Elsewhere in the southern section, it's Carlow versus Tipperary and Laois against Westmeath.

In the northern section first round, Cavan are set to play Down while Longford have a home tie with Fermanagh.

London travel to play Sligo and Leitrim will welcome Antrim to Carrick-on-Shannon.

Preliminary round ties are scheduled to take place next weekend, with first round matches the following week.
