On Sunday, Athy play Naas in the EMS Copiers SFL Division 1 final.

The game in St. Conleth's Park, Newbridge throws-in at 1pm.

KFM will have updates of the game with Ger McNally.

 

The Division 3 final takes place tonight, Allenwood meet Sallins in Hawkfield.

SOCCER

Sligo Rovers will bring a 2-1 lead over Bala Town into the second leg of their Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie after winning in Wales last night.

But Derry City lost 2-0 at home to Riga and have an uphill struggle next week in Latvia.


Bohemians ran out 3-1 winners away to UCD in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

Tonight, second placed Dundalk go to Drogheda and it's Shelbourne versus Finn Harps.


In the First Division, Galway United host Cobh Ramblers, it's Waterford up against Wexford, Treaty United play Longford Town and it's Athlone Town at home to Bray Wanderers.

RUGBY

Ireland have held their captain's run in Dunedin ahead of tomorrow's second test against New Zealand.

Connacht winger Mack Hansen comes into the 15 this week and he feels Ireland can improve on last week's 23 point defeat to the All Blacks.



TENNIS

Rafael Nadal's bid for the calendar year Grand Slam is over after he pulled out of today's Wimbledon semi final against Nick Kyrgios with an abdominal injury.

It means Kyrgios gets a bye into the final, where he will play either defending champion Novak Djokovic or Britain's Cameron Norrie, who meet this afternoon.

GOLF

American Cameron Tringale holds a 3 shot lead, at 9 under par, with round two of the Scottish Open now underway at the Renaissance Club - he tees off this afternoon at 2.15pm.

Padraig Harrington has teed off from 4 over, with Jonathan Caldwell out at lunchtime from 1 over par.

A seven race jumps card at Cork begins at 5.05pm.
