Friday Morning Sport: Three Kildare Teams In League Action This Weekend.

The hurlers and men's and ladies footballers all play over the weekend.

 

Preparations continue for the three Kildare teams in action in their respective league campaigns this weekend.

Tomorrow, following their Kehoe Cup win, the hurlers play Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park.

The game throws in at 2pm and Kfm will have live commentary with Ger McNally and Seamus Dillon.

Following their narrow defeat against Dublin last week, the footballers play Cork in their first home game on Sunday.

Throw in in St Conleth’s Park is at 2pm and Kfm will have full commentary with Ger McNally and Peter McConnon in association with Hanlon Concrete Robertstown.

Also on Sunday the Ladies footballers will be hoping to make it 3 wins from 3 in Division 3 of the NFL.

They have so far defeated Down and Longford and this weekend they make the long journey to Clare.

Throw in is at 2pm and the game is being played in Cooraclare on the west coast.

Ireland will have their captain's run at Cardiff's Principality Stadium today ahead of tomorrow's Six Nations Championship opener against Wales.

The roof will be closed tomorrow and a great atmosphere is expected at a venue where Ireland have not won for 10 years.

The Under-20's face their Welsh counterparts in Colwyn Bay this evening.

Kick off is at 7.

Graham Potter's side welcome West London rivals Fulham to Stamford Bridge for a Premier League encounter.
