The Lillies lost by a point on Sunday.
All-Ireland champions Tyrone boosted their chances of staying in Division One of the Allianz Football League on Sunday.
Tyrone got their first win of this year's league, narrowly beating Kildare 2-7 to 12 points, scoring both goals in the second half.
Kildare had goal-scoring opportunities, but were unfortunate not to convert.
Kildare led for the majority of the game, but did not score during a 23-minute spell in the first half, with the wind in their favour.
It's now two defeats in three for the Lillies and next up is Dublin in St Conleth's Park this Sunday at 1.45pm.
Kfm will have live commentary with Ger McNally and Peter McConnon in association with Hanlon Concrete Roberstown.
Here's manager Glenn Ryan speaking after the Tyrone game.
