The friendly match was played in Marbella this afternoon.

The Republic of Ireland Under 21's beat Australia 2-1 in their friendly international in Marbella this afternoon.

Bohemians duo Andy Lyons, a Naas native, and Ross Tierney made their under 21 debuts in that match.

Tierney came off the bench to score the winner following an equaliser from the Aussies who also scored an O-G.

Jim Crawford's team will face Denmark on Saturday in the last match of this training camp in Spain.
