Joe Canning says he’s leaving inter-county hurling on his own terms.
The 32-year old has confirmed his retirement from the Galway panel following their qualifier loss to Waterford last weekend.
The five-time All Star won the All-Ireland Championship with the Tribesmen in 2017 and also won two National Hurling League titles.
