Leixlip's Molly Dagg Defeated in All Ireland Women’s Singles Handball Final

Dagg, at the age of 22, was the first Leixlip woman to reach the final since 2002.

Leixlip’s Mollie Dagg lost out to Cork's Catriona Casey in the All Ireland Women’s Singles Handball Final yesterday.  
 
She was beaten 21-13 and 21-12 in Croke Park.
 
Leixlip GAA stated on Twitter "Mollie played great throughout, thrilling the crowd with some exceptional kill shots. Well done Mollie, you did our club and county proud".
 
Dagg, at the age of 22, was the first Leixlip woman to reach the final since 2002, while Casey is considered to be the number one player in the country.
