Liverpool Are 6 Points Clear At The Top Of The Premier League Table This Morning

A late 2-0 win against Brentford put them clear of second placed Arsenal, who were held to a 2-all draw by Aston Villa.

Kildare Senior Football and Hurling Team have announced their captain and vice captains for 2025.

For the Kildare Senior Hurling Team, Rian Boran of Naas GAA has been named Captain, with Cathal McCabe of Maynooth GAA as vice captain.

And for the Kildare Senior Football Team, Kevin Feely of Athy GAA has been named captain with Darragh Kirwan of Naas GAA as vice captain.
 

It's All Ireland Club Final day with a first time champion guaranteed in both finals.

Cuala of Dublin and Tyrone's Errigal Ciaran will go head to head in the football decider at Croke Park this afternoon.

Throw in for that game is just after half past 3.

Before that, Dublin could do the double with Na Fianna taking on Cork's Sarsfields in the hurling final from 1:30pm.
 

The Lidl Ladies Football League returns this afternoon as well.

There are 4 games down for decision in Division 4 with all fixtures throwing in at 2pm.

Kilkenny take on Antrim, Leitrim face Fermanagh, Wicklow come up against Sligo and it's Longford versus Derry.

David Moyes is seeking his first win since returning to the Everton hot seat.

The Scot will lead out his side against Tottenham in the Premier League after falling to a 1-0 loss to Villa last time out.

At the same time, Manchester United welcome Brighton to Old Trafford and Southampton make the trip to Nottingham Forest.

The big game of the day sees Ipswich Town playing host to a resurgent Manchester City.

That one kicks off at Portman Road at 4:30pm.

There's racing at Thurles this afternoon.

Appreciate It for Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott's Delta Work do battle in the Grade 2 Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase at five past 2.

The first of the 7 racecard goes to post at 12:20pm.
