It's a huge week ahead for Kildare’s male footballers with Dublin the opposition in minor and senior.

Gaelic Games

Kildare Ladies are Leinster Intermediate football Champions, after beating Wexford in the final yesterday by 2-12 to 1-8.

The Lilywhites claim back to back Leinster titles along with completing the League and Championship double.

This evening’s Kildare Scoreboard from 6.30 will review the women’s Leinster final win and the rest of the weekend sport.

Following yesterdays result, Kildare have been drawn into group A of the All Ireland Intermediate Championship with Leitrm and Louth.

A huge week ahead for Kildare’s male footballers with Dublin the opposition in minor and senior.

Niall Cronin’s minor squad play Dublin in the Leinster minor final in Laois Hire O’Moore Park on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

Kfm will have commentary of the match with Ger McNally and Seamus Dillon in association with Sherry Fitzgerald Brady O’Flaherty, Main St., Maynooth.

On Saturday, in the All Ireland men's senior football round robin, Kildare play Dublin in UPMC Nowlan Park, Kilkenny at 5pm.

Kfm will have commentary with Ger McNally and Peter McConnon in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

Dublin drew with Roscommon in Croke Park yesterday 1-11 to 0-14.

Soccer

Jude Bellingham has been named the Bundesliga's player of the season.

The England midfielder won the award just two days after his club Borussia Dortmund missed out on the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich on goal difference.

He has made more than 130 appearances since joining Dortmund from Birmingham for £20million three years ago.

Bellingham, who turns 20 next month, captained Dortmund this season to become the club's youngest-ever captain. He scored 14 goals in all competitions.

He has been linked to a move this summer, with Real Madrid among those interested.

Barnsley play Sheffield Wednesday in the League One play-off final at 3pm.
