English FA to investigate alleged sectarian abuse towards James McClean

Eadestown will meet Tinahely of Wicklow on Sunday, in the semi-final of the LGFA's Leinster Championship.
Yesterday, Eadestown beat Portlaoise narrowly - 3-06 to 2-10.
Tinahely beat Milltown of Westmeath.
Sunday's game will take place in Eadestown GAA, at 2pm.

The English FA says it will investigate claims by James McClean that he was the subject of sectarian abuse last weekend.
In a post on social media, the Republic of Ireland international said he was targeted during Wigan's Championship meeting with Sunderland.
The FA says it condemns all forms of "discriminatory and offensive chanting" and will look into the matter before deciding on a course of action.

The visitors suffered a 1-0 defeat at the stadium - their first in this season's Premier League.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was left unhappy with the decision to rule out a goal for his side in yesterday's loss.
Phil Foden found the net for City in the early stages of the second half, but it was later ruled out after a VAR check.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has apologised on behalf of the club after it emerged coins were thrown towards opposite number Pep Guardiola during the game.
It happened in the second half, soon after Phil Foden's goal was disallowed.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is the strong favourite to win the 66th Ballon d'Or in Paris this evening.
If the Frenchman does win - he will become the second player to claim the trophy (outside of Messi and Ronaldo) during the last 14 ceremonies.
Other strong contenders for the award include Sadio Mane, Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski.
Arsenal's Bukayo Saka was the only Premier League star to be nominated.
BOXING
Bernard Dunne has been appointed as the Boxing Federation of India's new High Performance Director.
The Dubliner left his role with the Irish Athletic Boxing Association earlier this year.
Dunne helped Team Ireland to two medal successes at the Tokyo Olympics.
