Kildare hurlers and women footballers both won on Sunday and top their respective Divisions
But, Kildare men footballers are licking their wounds again following yesterday’s 14 points defeat to Derry.
The result keeps Kildare 2nd from bottom of Division 2, with 3 games left against Louth, Meath and Limerick.

In the women’s Superleague, Leixlip Amenities Liffey Celtics were home to Universtiy Galway Mystics in Leixlip Amenities Centre on Saturday evening
The Celtics netted 100 points in a winning 100 to 85 scoreline, giving them a 3rd win in a row
Sorcha Tiernan top scored for Celtic. Six Celtic players at least 15 points each.
Yesterday UCC Glanmire clinched the title for the 2nd year in a row.
Celtics have two tough games left to try and clinch a top four playoff spot.
Next Saturday evening at 7, Celtics are away to 4th place Waterford Wildcats at 6pm.
