Man Utd Appoint Rangnick; Naas Hurlers Into Leinster Semi Final

Manchester United have confirmed the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season, subject to work visa requirements.

The 63-year-old German joins from Lokomotiv Moscow, where he was manager of sports and development.

At the end of the season Rangnick will take on a consultancy role for a further two years.

Two Kildare players featured in yesterday’s Extra.ie FAI Cup final.

Naas Andy Lyons and Athy’s Rory Feely were in the Bohs team which lost to St Pats on penalties.

Former Kildare U20 footballer Feely headed Bohs equalizer in normal time.

Naas hurlers are into the Leinster Intermediate hurling final after Saturday’s win against  Castleknock.

They will play Kilkenny’s Glenmore in the semi final in St. Conleths Park in a fortnight.

The Naas manager Tom Mullally will be facing his native club.

This evening’s Kildare Scoreboard from 6.30 will have the post-match interview with Tom Mulally

Naas GAA turns its attention to football now.

On Sunday, they will play Blessington in the Leinster quarter final at 1pm in St. Conleth’s Park

On Saturday, Kilcock go to Tang of Westmeath in the Intermediate quarter final at 1pm

Also on Saturday, junior champions Kilcullen play Grange of Carlow in Dr. Cullen Park at 5pm.

Kfm will have live coverage of all three games.
