EMS Copiers Titles for Naas & Allewood; SFC & IFC Football C'hips Begin This Week; 3 Kildare players Named on Ireland Rugby Side; Kildare Scoreboard, 6.30pm, this evening, Reviews Weekend Kildare Sport

 

Naas are the  EMS Copiers SFL Division 1 champions.

Yesterday, they beat Athy 1-13 to 0-12 in St. Conelth's Park, Newbridge.

Naas begin the defence of their Joe Mallon Motors Senior Football title next Saturday against Moorefield in St. Conleth’s Park at 3.30

The Senior and Intermediate championships begin next weekend, while the Junior championship, already underway, has further rounds from Thursday evening.

 

On Friday night, Allenwood beat Sallins by 1-20 to 1-13 to clinch the EMS Copiers Division 3 title.

Both clubs are promoted to Division 2.

Paul Pogba has completed his return to Juventus from Manchester United.

Wayne Rooney has reportedly agreed to become the new manager of DC United.

The former Derby boss would be returning to the MLS side he played for between 2018 and 2019.

Rooney left his role in charge of the Championship club last month.
