It was a disappointing afternoon for both the Kildare footballers and hurlers yesterday.
In Division 1 of the Allianz League the footballers lost to Donegal in Ballybofey.
The final score Donegal 2-11 Kildare 1-9.
Kildare's next game is Sunday 20th February, when they travel to Omagh to play Tyrone.

Five players were sent off in the latter stages of Tyrone's loss to Armagh in the Allianz Football League yesterday.
Four of the All-Ireland champions players were dismissed following commotion, with Armagh's Greg McCabe also dismissed.
Armagh won the game by 2-14 to 14 points to make it two wins from two in Division One.
Mayo beat Monaghan by two points in Clones.

Kildare hurlers were beaten by Meath in their opening game of the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A.
Final score at St Conleth's Park Meath 0-18 Kildare 0-15.
Next up for the Lillies is a trip to Kerry on Sunday at 2pm.

Limerick suffered an opening round defeat in Division One of the Allianz Hurling League yesterday.
Darragh Egan's Wexford beat the All-Ireland champions by 1-11 to 11 points.
Elsewhere in the top tier, Galway had 17 points to spare over Offaly, while Kilkenny beat Antrim.
Dublin and Waterford played out a draw at Parnell Park.

Naas became the first Kildare club to win an All-Ireland Intermediate hurling title on Saturday, defeating Kilmoyley of Kerry in Croke Park.
The full time score was Naas 16 points Kilmoyley 1-11, with Naas having to withstand some late pressure in awful conditions.

Good fortunes continuing for Naas, Naas CBS won the Leinster Post Primary Schools Bro. Bosco Cup Football "A" Final.
They beat fellow Kildare team Maynooth SLS by 14 points to 2-07 at St Conleth's Park on Saturday, to claim the school's third title in four competitions.

Seamus Power finished in a tie for ninth at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am last night.
The Waterford native posted a total of 13-under-par.
That was six shots behind the winner Tom Hoge.
