The All-Ireland champions boosted their chances of staying in Division One of the Allianz Football League yesterday.
Tyrone got their first win of this year's league, narrowly beating Kildare 2-7 to 12 points, scoring both goals in the second half.
Kildare had goal-scoring opportunities, but were unfortunate not to convert.
Kildare led for the majority of the game, but did not score during a 23-minute spell in the first half, with the wind in their favour.
