Niamh Fahey To Hang Up Her Boots After 17 Years Playing For Ireland

She will continue to play for her club Liverpool

Republic of Ireland centurion Niamh Fahey has announced her retirement from international football.

The 37-year-old Galway native made her Irish debut in 2007 and went on to earn 115 caps.

She will continue to play for her club Liverpool.

Fahey was a key member of the squad that qualified for a first major tournament and describes that World Cup in 2023 as a career highlight.
