No Covid Cases Identified At Pilot Spectator Events In Kildare & Kerry.

1,000 people are attending the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day at the Kildare track, and 200 music lovers are attending the Kerry gig.

The Minister of State for Sport says no Covid-19 cases have been identified at live pilot events.

Crowds ranging from 200 to more than 1,000 have gathered at various sporting and cultural events throughout June as part of the government's reopening plan.

Two such events are taking place today, at the Curragh racecourse in Kildare and a concert in Killarney in Co. Kerry, headlined by Kildare artists Christy Moore and Jack L.

1,000 people are attending the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day at the Kildare track, and 200 music lovers are attending the gig.

Minister of State Jack Chambers says attendances will be scaled up further over the coming months:
