Athy are the first team to reach the 2022 Joe Mallon Motors Senior Football Championship semi finals.
They beat Clogherinkoe by 3-18 to 1-12 in Round Towers last night.

Johnstownbridge and Celbridge meet at 4.00pm.
That will be preceded by the Auld Shebeen Bar Athy, Intermediate Quarter Final between Monasterevan and Castledermot at 2.00pm.
Kill and Athgarvan and Grangenolvin and Cappagh contest Tom Cross Transport Junior Football Quarter Finals at Manguard Plus Hawkfield at 12.00 and 2.00.

Ciara Mageean smashed Sonia O’Sullivan’s 27-year old national record in the 15-hundred metres last night.
The European silver medallist took more than 2-seconds off O’Sullivan’s time in winning at the Diamond League meet in Brussels.
