Sunday Morning Sport Update: Kildare Begin AFL Division 1 Campaign.

Versus Kerry at 1.45pm in Newbridge.

Kildare get their Allianz National Football League Division 1 campaign underway this afternoon, against Kerry.

Throw-in in St Conleth's Park is at 1.45pm and Kfm will have live commentary with Ger McNally and Peter McConnon, in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

The team has been named and is as follows:

In goal: Mark Donnellan (Maynooth)
Full backs: Mick O'Grady (Celbridge), Shea Ryan (Sarsfields), Ryan Houlihan (Moorefield)
Half backs: Jack Sargent (Eadestown), James Murray (Moorefield), Tony Archbold (Celbridge)

Naas CBS will play Maynooth SLS in an all Kildare Leinster Colleges Senior Football A final.

They recorded an impressive 6-06 to 11 points win over Colaiste Choilm Tullamore in Edenderry.

The win came courtesy of a strong second half performance and four goals from Niall Dolan.

Munster sealed a bonus point victory in Italy as they beat Zebre 34-17.

While Connacht fell to a third consecutive defeat at the Sportsground losing 42-20 to Glasgow.

The quarter finals of the Africa Cup of Nations continue today.

Egypt face Morocco at 4pm, with the winner going on to play hosts Cameroon in the semi final.

And at 7pm Senegal take on Equitorial Guinea. Burkina Faso await the winner in the other semi final.
