The focus this weekend is on the UPMC Senior Hurling Championship and the Tom Cross Junior Football Championship.

In the Senior Hurling semi final today, Naas play Confey at 1.30.

In the Junior Football semi finals, Grangenolvin play Kill at 3 o’clock, followed by Ellistown against Castlemitchell at 4.45.

Last night, in the Junior A Final it finished Rathcoffey 10 points Athgarvan 1-6

Also last night, in the Senior Women's Football Championship final, it finished Eadestown 5-15 St Laurence's 6 points.

Today, at 5 o’clock, Ballina play Kill in the Intermediate final, and Kilcock play Na Fianna in the Junior A Final at 3.30.

SOCCER

Liverpool are once again in lunchtime action in the Premier League - this time they’re away to winless Crystal Palace.

At 3, Arsenal welcome lowly Southampton to the Emirates.

GOLF

There’s an eight-race card at The Curragh this afternoon, with the first going to post at five-past-1.

And the Grade-2 PWC Champion Steeplechase is the feature of a seven-race card at Gowran Park, which gets underway at five-to-2.
