With a game against Meath in hand this afternoon

GAA

The Kildare hurlers are on the cusp of promotion to Division 1B.

They play Meath this afternoon, knowing a win or a draw would see them promoted.

That game throws in at 2.30 in Trim and we will have live commentary here on Kfm in association with Hanlon Concrete Products Robertstown.

Also this afternoon, the women footballers play Mayo in Swinford at 3pm, while the camogie side are against Wicklow in Manguard Park Hawkfield at 2.

RUGBY

Ireland begin their Women's Six Nations campaign this afternoon.

Scott Bemand's side are in Belfast for a meeting with France in the opening round.

Kick off at Kingspan Stadium is at 1pm, with Amee Leigh Costigan set to captain the home team.

From 4.45pm, Scotland host Wales.

GOLF

Ireland's Shane Lowry remains in contention after round two of the PGA Tour's Valspar Championship golf.

He's two shots off the leader Jacob Bridgeman, who is 6-under par in Florida.

Norway's Viktor Hovland and two-time major winner Xander Schauffele are also in the mix.
