There Are Five Games To Be Played In The Primer League This Afternoon

Four of the games in The Premier League kick off at 2pm.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has rubbished criticism of his opposite number as his side prepare to take on Tottenham today.

The Reds come up against Ange Postecoglou's side in the main game of the day in the Premier League.

The sides will also meet in the semi finals of the EFL Cup after both progressed this week.

Before that, Southampton begin the reign of Ivan Juric when they take on Fulham.

Chelsea can go top for a few hours at least with victory over Everton.

Elsewhere, Leicester take on Wolves and Bournemouth travel to Manchester United.

All four games get underway at 2pm.

In the Scottish Premiership, Celtic can extend their lead at the top of the table this lunchtime.

They travel to Dundee United at noon knowing a win will take them 11 points clear of second placed Aberdeen.

The Dons couldn't put the pressure on yesterday as they were beaten 3-1 by Hibs.

RUGBY

Leinster maintained their unbeaten start to their URC season last night.

They survived a late onslaught to get past rivals Connacht 20 points to 12 at the Aviva Stadium.

It leaves the Blues 11 points clear of Glasgow at the top of the table while the Westerners remain just outside the European places.

DARTS

Dylan Slevin's PDC World Darts Championship dream continues later.

The 22 year old Tipperary man plays in his first ever second round match at Ally Pally against Dimitri Van den Bergh.

That's in the evening session where Gary Anderson also gets his tournament underway with a second round matchup with Jeffrey de Graaf.

The opening tie of the day sees world number 20 Ryan Searle taking on Canadian Matt Campbell.
