There are two football championship semi finals down for decision today.

In the Auld Shebeen Bar Athy Intermediate semi final, Leixlip play Milltown at 2 o'clock.

At 4 o'clock, Celbridge play Sarsfields in the last four of the Joe Mallon Senior Football Championship.

Both games are in Manguard Park Hawkfield and Kfm will have coverage on Saturday Sportsbeat.

The draw for the 2025 Leinster Senior Football Championship will be made at 4 o'clock today.

The four semi-finalists from this year - Dublin, Louth, Offaly, and Kildare are straight through to the quarter-final stage for next year.

There are also three Ladies Football Championship finals this afternoon.

In the Junior B Final, Sallins play Castlemitchell, in the Junior C Final Naas play Ellistown and in the Junior D Final, St Kevin's play Kilcullen.

 

SOCCER

Derry City blew the chance to put real pressure on SSE Airtricity Premier Division leaders Shelbourne last night.

Derry are three-points off Shels, but with a game in hand.

While the Oktoberfest Weekend Festival gets underway at Naas, where the first is off at 2.
