Kildare are Leinster LGFA Minor A Champions.

The Lilywhites beat Meath 2-06 to 0-08 in Kinnegad yesterday evening.

Kildare kept Meath scoreless for 43 minutes.

Half forward Ellie Kendrick completed a family double - her sister Shauna won the Intermediate Football Championship in May.

Johnny Sexton will captain Ireland in Saturday's second test against New Zealand in Dunedin.
