Kildare native Davy Burke was last night confirmed as the new Roscommon senior football manager.
He’s been handed a three-year term to succeed Anthony Cunningham.
Burke will be assisted by Donegal All Ireland-winner Mark McHugh.
The Confey clubman had his playing career cut short by injury.
However, he sprung to prominence when he managed Kildare to victory in the 2018 All-Ireland U-20 football championship.
