The Republic of Ireland senior and under 21 teams are in action today.
The Under 21s can qualify for a European Championship for the first time in their history if they beat Italy in Ascoli.
Kick off is at 4.30pm.
Regardless of the result, Jim Crawford's side are guaranteed a play off spot.
The senior team are in Poland to face Ukraine in a Nations League encounter from 7.45pm.
Michael Obafemi, Shane Duffy and John Egan will all miss the match, so Darragh Lenihan and Dara O'Shea are being tipped to start in defence, with a potential recall in attack for Chiedozie Ogbene, Leixlip's Nathan Collins & Maynooth's Mark Travers will both be involved in the squad.
The team is set to be captained by James McClean, who will win a 94th cap.
RUGBY
Ireland coach Andy Farrell will name an extended squad this lunchtime for the trip to New Zealand, which will include three tests against the All Blacks.
There are doubts over the fitness of Ronan Kelleher and Robert Balacoune, while Ciaran Frawley, Joe McCarthy and Cian Prendergast will be hopeful of inclusion.
GAELIC GAMES
The Irish Independent is reporting that Clare duo Peter Duggan and Rory Hayes and Galway's Cianan Fahy will appeal proposed bans arising from their recent senior hurling championship appearances.
The bans were retrospectively applied by the Central Competitions Control Committee.
Clare are to play Wexford with Galway up against Cork in the All Ireland quarter finals in Thurles on Saturday.
SWIMMING
Nicole Turner, Barry McClements and Amy Sheridan are in the pool for Ireland at the World Para Swimming Championships in Madeira today.
HORSE RACING
