SOCCER
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned his players that they need to be ready for a "fight" against Manchester United tonight.
Victory or a draw for the Reds against their rivals at Anfield would see them leapfrog Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
A win for United would see them move level on points with fourth-place Spurs in the race for Champions League qualification.
Klopp says he knows what to expect from Ralph Rangnick's team:
Fulham have the chance to seal promotion back to the Premier League this evening.
The Championship leaders will return to the English top-flight if they can beat Preston at Craven Cottage.
Shamrock Rovers have closed the gap to SSE Airtricity League Premier Division leaders Derry to just one point.
Danny Mandriou's second-half strike gave the Hoops a 1-nil home win against Dundalk while Derry drew 1-1 against Drogheda last night.
Sligo Rovers enjoyed a 1-0 victory at Finn Harps in their north-west derby while Bohemains beat Shelbourne 4-1.
UCD continue to prop up the table following their 2-1 defeat to St Pat's.
SNOOKER
Antrim’s Mark Allen has set up a clash with Ronnie O’Sullivan at the World Snooker Championship.
Allen progressed to round two at the Crucible with a ten frames to six win against Scott Donaldson last night.
While Anthony McGill beat qualifier Liam Highfield 10-7.
CYCLING
Former Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins has revealed that he was sexually abused by a coach as a teenager.
The Olympic gold medal winner told Men’s Health Magazine that he was groomed when he was 13 and that the impact of the abuse has carried through into his adult life.
Wiggins added that he felt unable to tell his family because of a difficult relationship with his stepfather.
