Pat Hickey has stepped down from the International Olympic Committee on health grounds.
The 77 year old Dubliner was arrested in Rio six years ago as part of an investigation into the alleged illegal resale of Olympic tickets.

Honeysuckle was crowned Horse of the Year at the Horse Racing Ireland awards in Dublin last night.

The Flat achievement gong was presented to 19 year old champion apprentice Dylan Browne McMonagle, who hails from a county not normally associated with horse racing - Donegal.
