Kildare minor hurlers recorded a big Leinster championship win over Carlow last night.

Kildare led 1-14 to 1-7 at half time; the goal by Tom Power

Two Tim Ryan goals by 50 minutes of the 2nd half ended the game as a contest as Kildare led 3-21 to 1-8.

Kildare were never in danger as they overwhelmed Carlow by 3-23 to 1-9; Carlow only scoring 2 second half points.

The under 20 footballers play Wexford tonight in their final Leinster championship group game

Having lost to Westmeath last time, Kildare have to win to advance to the quarter final.
