Virgin Media Looks Set To Become Main Broadcaster Of The League Of Ireland

RTE say they had proposed increasing their commitment to 20 games across TV and the RTE Player, but clubs have voted in favour of Virgin Media

Virgin Media is set to become the primary broadcaster of SSE Airtricity League Premier Division games for the coming season.

Should the FAI rubberstamp the deal next week, it would see 36 matches shown across the game, one per game week.

RTE say they had proposed increasing their commitment to 20 games across TV and the RTE Player, but clubs have voted in favour of Virgin Media.
